Though I never met you, I knew how proud George was to have built your house and filled it with his daughters.

George,

You always laughed when I referred to you as my Guru, but we both knew it was true. I recall working together many times, including in your beloved Prague; it is tragic that you will no longer be around us.

I am so shocked at Goerges passing. We worked together over 20 years, at Orbit in Rome and more recently at GTV for Africa. He was a truly outstanding, intellegent and ethical man and a pleasure with which to work. It is hard to believe that he had left us, especially doing what he loved so much - flying.

I've known George for almost 15 years. He was a pleasure to work with as his enthusiasm towards a project motivated all his peers. He was truly a remarkable person I will miss him deeply, as will all who knew him.

I've worked with George on and off for probably 20 years or more. His love of life was obvious even when dealing with him professionally and it rubbed off on those around him. He always made me remember why I went into engineering: it was fun.

He will be missed.

I had the pleasure of meeting with George many times on business matters over the past couple of years. I am relatively new to the organization, and did not have the opportunity to work with him when he was with the company, but have come to know him well since. I can tell you that he was very well liked and respected by his former colleagues and lifetime peers here, who continue to look at him as part of our family. The news of his passing has hit us all very hard, he will be missed.

I am deeply saddened by George’s departure. I’ve been working with George for nearly 15 years. He was an excellent business partner, a good friend and a great man. I fortunately spent time with George last week in Amsterdam, I will miss him deeply.
